The new XGRIDS Lixel L3 is here!
MUNICH, 15 Sept. 2026 — XGRIDS today announced the new Lixel L3 – its flagship spatial scanner with validated 5mm relative accuracy, demonstrated against measured ground truth in a documented test.
The L3 combines high-accuracy LiDAR, a 4K HDR vision system, integrated RTK, SLAM and a built-in display in one field-ready system. It captures precise geometry, true colour, and positioning in a single workflow, with local processing that produces point clouds, detailed meshes and photorealistic 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) models.
“5mm relative accuracy only matters if it holds up in the field and the data can go straight into BIM,” said Sunny Liao, Director of International Sales and Marketing at XGRIDS. “Customers can capture, process and export locally, and the data is ready for the workflow.”
With a 4.3″ display, map fusion without preset control points and privacy protection for faces and license plates, the Lixel L3 is designed for efficient field capture across AEC, film and entertainment, and virtual production workflows.
